These 12-gram chips are very nice and may be the best mid-range poker chips you can buy. They have a traditional look with a textured rim and a slight recession in the middle, which is great for applying your own custom labels. They have great looking edge spots that are molded into the chip and great color combinations as well…
This chip stacks well due to composite mixture and texturing. They do tend to have a softer feel than most composites, which tend to make them less slippery…
Nexgen is definitely the best when it comes to hiding the injection pimple. In fact, you might not find it if I don't tell you where it's at. Ok, I'll tell you! It's located in the middle of one of the small stars on the face of the chip. Look closely because each star has a pimple in it, but only one is the injection site.
Sample chip diameters averaged 40.2 mm and weights averaged 12 grams respectfully…
What I'm not crazy about: Unfortunately, these chips don't really sound much better than any other insert chip. The extra .5-gram may deaden the metallic sound a bit and adding you own labels might help as well. However, I was impressed enough to put them in my Chip Trick & Card Flourish Starter Kit. For the price you can't go wrong!!!
